Numeracy skills are important skills for students in helping students solve everyday problems and support decision-making based on data and mathematical logic. Numeracy skills are integrated with everyday problems such as population. This study aims to train students' numeracy skills through training integrated with population issues, especially nutritional status based on Body Mass Index (BMI). This training activity was carried out at SMPN 1 Plumbon with 30 IPS and PMR extracurricular students. The training activity went through three stages, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. The planning stage is the team coordinating with the supervising teacher regarding the training concept and creating materials. The implementation stage is carried out twice, namely the presentation of materials by the resource person and the practice of calculating BMI using the Microsoft Excel application. The evaluation stage is to help students interpret the results of data processing in the form of infographics.
Hesty Ummi WulandariHesty Marliana WatiErvita Dian PramestiEla NurcholisyahEfi JumaesariArwanto ArwantoNurlaela Nurlaela

The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) is an essential component of the National Assessment policy aimed at measuring students' reading literacy and numeracy competencies in depth. However, many vocational high school (SMK) students are not yet familiar with the characteristics of AKM questions, which require critical thinking and contextual understanding. This community service program was conducted to help students at SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon understand the structure and patterns of AKM questions through a classical question-analysis approach. The activity took place in March 2025, using a participatory method involving 35 tenth-grade students from five different classes. Students worked individually on AKM-type questions, followed by group discussions and evaluations using the Quizizz platform. The results showed that students gained a better understanding of AKM contexts, were able to identify key information, and apply appropriate problem-solving strategies. Moreover, they showed high enthusiasm throughout the activity. This program demonstrated that classical question-analysis is an effective strategy for enhancing vocational students’ readiness for AKM.
Adilla Dwi SeptiaAmelia NisaDeby Try Meliana PertiwiAkhmad JumaliAna FauziyyahSumliyah SumliyahZaenal Abidin

This community service activity aims to enhance students' abilities in writing scientific articles through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Based on an initial survey, the main obstacles faced by students are limited time, difficulty in understanding writing structures, and low levels of creativity in developing ideas. To address these issues, training was conducted involving the use of AI-based tools such as Grammarly, QuillBot, and ChatGPT. The activity consisted of an introductory workshop, simulations of AI usage in article writing, group discussions, and intensive mentoring. Evaluation of the program showed a significant increase in students' confidence and productivity in completing scientific articles. The publication of the scientific articles produced by the students serves as a form of appreciation and recognition of their efforts. This activity has proven effective in improving the quality of students' scientific writing and introducing the ethical use of AI technology in academia.
Dafiar SyarifHendra LardimanNelly PatrisiaZul Ihsan Mu’arrifEva SumantiAzhar AzharSamsul Bahry HarahapDesiana Desiana

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Hiang Village, Setinjau Laut District, face challenges of limited visibility and market access due to the minimal utilization of digital technology. This low technology adoption is caused by a lack of knowledge, skills, and awareness regarding the potential of digital marketing. This community service activity aimed to enhance the capacity of MSME owners in utilizing Google Maps as a tool to increase their business visibility. The method employed was a participatory counseling approach, which included three stages: planning, implementation (consisting of socialization, theoretical presentation, and hands-on practice), and evaluation (through a post-test, feedback, and monitoring). The results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, with over 90% passing the post-test. Moreover, there was a high rate of technology adoption, with 84% of participants successfully registering their businesses on Google Maps after the training. It is concluded that this outreach activity was effective in empowering MSMEs, providing a practical solution to the visibility problem, and serving as a strategic first step in bridging the digital divide in rural areas.
Alek Wissalam BustamiSuci MahabbatiSyukrawati SyukrawatiTiara TiaraEndah Sri WahyuniElvi NildaBustami BustamiEka Putra

https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/5929

The utilization of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) as a source of traditional medicine has not been fully optimized within the context of economic empowerment in Dadapan Village. One of the potential plants in TOGA is lemongrass (Cymbopogon sp.), which contains high-value lemongrass oil. This study aims to examine a community empowerment approach based on local potential in Dadapan Village, Kendal Subdistrict, Ngawi Regency, East Java, through a workshop program on lemongrass oil production as a form of sustainable TOGA optimization. The method used refers to the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) theory approach, which focuses on five main principles: Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, and Destiny. Through local asset mapping, needs identification, and participatory intervention design, this program encourages the creation of added value for the community by utilizing existing resources. The results of the program implementation show an increase in the community’s technical knowledge of lemongrass oil distillation processes, as well as a growing collective initiative to transform TOGA into a productive economic resource. Thus, the ABCD approach has proven effective in building independence based on local potential while promoting the transformation of TOGA from a merely consumptive function to a productive one. The implications of this activity are not only ecological and economic but also support social sustainability through the strengthening of community capacity in a participatory and sustainable manner.
Masyekha Ahmad Firmansyah MasyekhaNurul Via WulandariNovi WidiyanaElla Nur FajriyahAmal Taufiq
