This phenomenon is influenced by negative perceptions of bachelor's degree graduates, a strong work and migration orientation, and weak motivation to pursue knowledge. This activity aims to increase student motivation and awareness in continuing their education to higher education through Islamic values-based motivational training at SMKN 2 Pariaman City. The approach used was participatory and educational, using training methods, reflective discussions, higher education counseling, and internalization of Islamic values regarding the importance of seeking knowledge. Data were collected through post-activity observations and participant reflections, then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results showed an increase in student understanding of the urgency of higher education, a change in perceptions of the academic world, and increased motivation and interest in continuing their studies to higher education. Islamic values-based mentoring has proven effective in building academic awareness and future orientation in students, thus contributing positively to efforts to increase participation in higher education.

Keywords: Motivation Training, Islamic Values, Higher Education
Hamzah Irfanda, Syifa Ulinnas Copyright (c) 2026 RANGGUK: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6678 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Menjadi Orang Tua Hebat: Memahami Kesiapan Anak Memasuki Sekolah Dasar https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6676
School readiness is a crucial factor in determining children’s successful adaptation and learning processes at the elementary education level. However, many parents still interpret school readiness narrowly, focusing mainly on early academic skills. This community service program aimed to enhance parents’ and teachers’ understanding of children’s readiness to enter elementary school from a holistic perspective, including physical, cognitive, language, social-emotional, and independence aspects. The activity was conducted through an offline educational and participatory approach involving lectures and interactive discussions with parents and early childhood teachers in the IGTK of Sangir Balai Janggo District, Solok Selatan Regency. The results indicated an increased awareness among participants regarding comprehensive school readiness indicators and the strategic role of parents in supporting children during the educational transition period. This program contributes to strengthening family involvement as the primary environment in fostering children’s optimal school readiness.
Leni Murni Hayati, Esa Yulimarta, Peki Fitra Sandi, Sri Yanti Copyright (c) 2026 RANGGUK: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6676 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Pelatihan Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Flip PDF–MATLAB untuk Peningkatan Kapasitas Guru MAN 1 Sarolangun dalam Pembelajaran P5 https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6091
The implementation of the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) projects requires learning resources that are easy to adopt, engaging, and supportive of authentic assessment; however, in practice there are still constraints related to teachers’ ICT literacy, software availability, and the scarcity of ready-to-replicate examples. This training addressed these issues through an integrated package—guidelines and templates for Flip PDF Professional, access to MATLAB/software, and an online mentoring forum—with the following objectives: to train teachers to design digital learning materials using Flip PDF integrated with MATLAB for P5 projects; to enhance teachers’ understanding of technology use in strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile; and to help teachers produce interactive, data-driven, problem-solving-oriented learning resources. The program involved 14 teachers and proceeded in five stages: preparation–agreement, needs identification, Technical Training I (Flip PDF), Technical Training II (MATLAB & P5 integration), and formative–summative evaluation. All participants produced P5 flipbook prototypes featuring multimedia, clear navigation, and reflection pages; most embedded charts/tables generated in MATLAB. Likert-scale questionnaire results indicated positive perceptions (mean 4.40; Cronbach’s α = 0.864), with strengths in facilitation & outputs (4.64), P5 relevance (4.57), sustainability (4.50), and Flip PDF ease of use (4.43). The area requiring further strengthening was MATLAB integration (3.86), which was followed up through technical clinics, dataset templates, and guidance on numeric locale settings. These findings confirm the effectiveness and replicability of this training model in P5 contexts.
Sri Purwaningsih, Cicyn Riantoni, Haerul Pathoni, Jules Nurhatmi, Menza Hendri Copyright (c) 2026 RANGGUK: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6091 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Pemberdayaan Perpustakaan Umum: Peningkatan Literasi dan Partisipasi Masyarakat di Era Digital https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6619
Abstract

Public libraries play a strategic role in improving literacy and community participation, not only as a place to store books, but also as a center for learning and an inclusive social space. This study aims to analyze the inclusive socialization strategies implemented by public libraries in the digital age to encourage literacy and community involvement. The method used is descriptive qualitative with purposive sampling, involving librarians who run outreach programs and community service users. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies, then analyzed using an interactive model including reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that inclusive outreach has succeeded in increasing the number of visits and active community involvement in digital literacy programs, facilitating the improvement of digital literacy, and transforming libraries into social spaces that are friendly to all groups. The obstacles encountered include limited resources and low interest among some members of the community, thus requiring creative communication strategies and the use of digital media. These findings indicate that public libraries have the potential to become centers for lifelong learning and agents of social change through innovative inclusive socialization.

Keywords: public libraries; inclusive socialization; digital literacy; community participation

Muhammad Rizky, Putri Yulia, Ziqri Armino, M. The school has never received specific education on the prevention and handling of sexual harassment, so several forms of mild sexual harassment often occur without adequate treatment. To support the smooth implementation of the activity, data collection was conducted through interviews with school officials, and a pre-test was administered to determine the level of students' initial understanding of the issue of sexual harassment. The solution provided through this activity was in the form of knowledge transfer through seminars, interactive discussions, and roleplays that illustrate various forms of sexual harassment, their impacts, and preventive measures. The education also emphasized the importance of ethical morals in building commendable behavior, respect for others, and caution in social interactions. To support the activity, a budget allocation of Rp1,347,500 was required. After the activity was implemented, the results showed that the level of students' understanding had increased from 88% in the pre-test to 93% after participating in the education. This demonstrates the activity's success in providing a comprehensive understanding of the definition of sexual harassment, its forms (verbal, nonverbal, physical, non-physical, and digital), the impact on victims, and how to report and seek assistance. The school also responded positively to the recommendation to establish a PPKS Task Force as a sustainable effort to prevent and address sexual violence. Furthermore, this activity instilled moral values in students, thereby fostering a safer school environment.
Ahmad Luthfi Munawar, Amalia Putri, Asyura Qayumi Mufti, Qori Nur Izraini, Lia Hartika, Marlya Fatira AK, Indri Dithisari, Harris Pinagaran Nasution, Zulhendry Zulhendry, Keyla Hosyanna Gultom, Yosafat Patrick Christianto Sinaga Copyright (c) 2026 RANGGUK: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6611 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Digital Finance Education as an Effort to Form a Wise Attitude towards the use of Paylater https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6613
The problem of this service activity is the low understanding of SMA Negeri 13 Medan students of digital financial risks, especially the use of PayLater services, as well as the lack of integration of financial literacy topics into subjects at school, and the lack of school cooperation with partners in soft skills education activities, especially related to digital financial management. After the education was provided, it was found that there was a significant change in understanding. Data were obtained through field observations, interviews with the school, and completion of pre-test and Post-test instruments by students. The solutions provided in this activity include digital financial literacy education, an understanding of how PayLater works, the risks associated with impulsive or excessive spending, and the development of prudent financial management attitudes, accompanied by discussion, questions, and answer sessions. The method of implementing the service includes situation analysis, preparation of educational materials, delivery of interactive seminars, case simulations, and evaluation of understanding through pre- and Post-Tests. The stages of the activity are carried out through the collection of initial data, coordination with schools, preparation of materials, implementation of education in grade XII at SMA Negeri 13 Medan, as well as the evaluation and awarding of active students. The results of implementing the activity showed that the level of understanding among participants increased from an average of 91% to 98%, with the lowest initial score of 30% and a final score of 100% after the education was carried out. In general, it shows that service activities are very effective in improving the knowledge gap regarding digital finance, PayLater risks, fines, and personal financial management. Overall, the service activities successfully improved digital financial literacy, reduced student misconceptions, and promoted a prudent attitude towards using the PayLater service. Additionally, this activity prompted the school to consider forming a financial literacy team and exploring opportunities for further education cooperation with external partners.
Nona Nabila Salma, Adinda Puspita Sari, Aida Fatin Pasaribu, Zulfa Nabilah Rangkuti, Vivianti Novita, M Rikwan Effendi Salam Manik, Enny Segarahati Barus Copyright (c) 2026 RANGGUK: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6613 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Pelatihan Pembuatan Batik Ecoprint bagi Ibu PKK di Desa Mojorayung untuk Membuka Peluang Usaha https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6644
This community service program aims to increase household income by enhancing the skills of PKK women in Mojorayung Village through ecoprint batik training. By mapping an "Authorial Spectrum," the research distinguishes between AI acting as a "Cradle" (technical scaffolding for grammar and syntax) versus a "Creator" (the automated generation of original conceptual ideas). Findings reveal a pervasive "Shortcut Trap," where deadline pressures drove 68% of participants toward intellectual dependency, allowing AI-generated structures to supersede their personal logical flow. However, the data also highlights the efficacy of "Socratic Prompting"—defined as iterative, question-based AI interaction—in safeguarding unique cultural nuances from "algorithmic sanitization" (the loss of identity through standardized AI output). This method resulted in a 40% higher retention of original idiomatic expressions compared to direct, one-off prompting. Consequently, the study advocates for a process-oriented disclosure model using transparency logs to address "digital ghostwriting." By moving beyond a prohibition-based mindset, the research positions AI as a tool to sharpen the human filter rather than replace the learner’s identity. Ultimately, these findings ensure that the diverse voices of EFL learners remain the primary drivers of academic discourse in an increasingly automated age.
Edy Suseno Copyright (c) 2026 RANGGUK: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6714 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Building Financial Literacy for Elementary School Children through Rupiah Authenticity Education, Rupiah Maintenance, and Financial Management https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6616
The problem with this service activity stems from the low financial literacy of students at Kasih Ibu Patumbak Private Elementary School, particularly in understanding the authenticity of the Rupiah, managing money effectively, and basic financial management in daily life. Data were obtained through interviews with the Principal and pre-test results, which showed that most students did not understand the characteristics of the Rupiah's authenticity and how to care for it, and lacked basic knowledge about financial management. The solutions provided are in the form of financial literacy education, which includes the history of the Rupiah, the characteristics of authentic money through the 3D method (Seen, Touched, Touched), how to manage money, and simple financial management techniques for elementary school students. The implementation method includes data collection through interviews, descriptive analysis of pre-test and post-test results, direct education, use of learning media, and evaluation of activities. The stages of the activity begin with the preparation and identification of problems, followed by the preparation of materials, the implementation of education through presentations and interactive discussions, and conclude with evaluation using post-tests and comprehension quizzes. The results of the implementation showed a significant increase, where the number of students who obtained a score of 100 increased from 5 to 12 after education, representing a 29% increase. This service program has been proven to increase student understanding significantly and has received a positive response from the school; therefore, it is recommended to be implemented sustainably.
Dara Anisa, Lina Suryani Harahap, Rizka Amelia, Lisa Andrian Syah Rizal, Eli Safrida, Sally Maya Vida, Hariati Br Sembiring Copyright (c) 2026 RANGGUK: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat https://ejournal.iainkerinci.ac.id/index.php/RGK/article/view/6616 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700
