PENDEKATAN HUMANISTIK DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN KURIKULUM BAHASA ARAB

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Arabic language learning curriculum at MTsS Nurul Haq Semurup which is implemented based on the Humanistic Approach and the factors that influence success in developing this Arabic learning curriculum. The author uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The results of the study show that the development of the Arabic language learning curriculum at MTsS Nurul Haq Semurup has organized well-structured learning. This can be seen in the process of implementing learning which is contained in several leading activities, such as; using the Cooperative learning model, independent learning and high social activity, morning language activities as a program to build self-confidence, self-development, build self-awareness in using Arabic. The learning approach at MTsS Nurul Haq Semurup has been carried out in an integrative manner. Factors that influence the success of learning Arabic include professional teacher factors, mature student background factors, and good environmental factors. This study suggests the need to reformulate an applicable and integrative Arabic learning curriculum for the entire learning process.
