Abstract

This study uses a qualitative method with the type of field research that is descriptive analysis. This research was conducted at MI Al-Kahfi Pelompek Kec. Gunung Tujuh in 2022. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used in this research is Data Reduction, Data Display, and Data Verification. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of the Koran in improving the ability to read and write the Koran in class IV MI Al-Kahfi Pelompek was an Islamic religious education teacher using the lecture method. In addition, the teacher applies reading the Koran by repeating the reading. In terms of writing the Koran, Islamic religious education teachers use the method of copying, observing and listening. The supporting factors that the researchers found were the existence of learning activities in the classroom, activities outside the classroom, and the availability of textbooks and other books, the inhibiting factor was that there were still students who were not fluent in reading and writing the Koran, lack of enthusiasm for students to learn, lack of parental attention.
