REAKTUALISASI TRADISI BAKUNANG DALAM MENANAMKAN KARAKTER ANAK DALAM KELUARGA MASYARAKAT KERINCI

Abstract

This research aims to explain the process of cultivating children's character in Kerinci community families through the Bakunang tradition, Bakunang (fairy tales) is a storytelling activity carried out by a mother to her child or a grandmother to her grandchildren which is done before bedtime or when the child is playing. . Bakunang is also called the story, story or advice conveyed in the bakunang process. Parents can instill various characters from storylines, stories or advice made during the bakunang process. This research uses qualitative research with an ethnographic approach.
