PEMBENTUKAN AKHLAK SISWA MELALUI KEGIATAN ROHIS DI SMP NEGERI 16 KERINCI

Abstract

Moral education is an important issue in the world of Indonesian education today. This is related to the phenomenon of moral crisis that has recently occurred in society. The aim of this research is to determine the formation of student morals through spiritual activities at SMP Negeri 16 Kerinci. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The formation of student morals through spiritual activities at SMP Negeri 16 Kerinci is carried out every Friday in turns in classes using the methods of habituation, example, affection, confiding and punishment. Spiritual activities begin with reading yasinan, tahlil and prayers, reading divine speech, call to prayer, kultum, mentioning the names of prophets and angels, reading Asmaul Husna, salawat on the prophet and ends with a spiritual shower by the teacher.
