Peer Reviewers

Peer Review Process

Publication of articles in Leader: Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam solely depends on their scientific validity and coherence as assessed by our editors and/or peer reviewers, who will also assess whether the writing is understandable and whether the work is a useful contribution to the field.  Leader: Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam acknowledges the efforts and suggestions made by its reviewers.

Preliminary Evaluation of Manuscripts

The editor will first evaluate all submitted manuscripts. Although rare, it is highly feasible for an outstanding manuscript to be accepted at this stage. Those rejected at this stage are not original enough, have serious scientific deficiencies, or are outside the aims and scope of  Leader: Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Those that meet the minimum criteria are forwarded to experts for review.

 Types of Peer Reviews

Submitted manuscripts will generally be reviewed by two to three experts who will be asked to assess whether the manuscript is scientifically sound and coherent, whether it is a duplicate of a work that has already been published, and whether the manuscript is clear enough to be published or not. The method is a double-blind peer review.

 Decision

The reviewer advises the editor, who is responsible for the final decision to accept or reject the article. The Editors will make decisions based on this report and, if necessary, they will consult with members of the Editorial Board. The editor's decision is final.
