Abstract This research aims to determine the methods used by teachers in learning Arabic for class IV students at MI Ma'arif NU 5 Sekampung for the 2022/2023 academic year. The research design used in this research is qualitative research. The data collection tools refer to observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses qualitative data analysis techniques which consist of three stages, namely: data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification. Researchers found that the methods used by teachers in learning Arabic in class IV were three methods, namely the demonstration method, the memorization method and the crossword puzzle game method. The demonstration method is used by the fourth grade Arabic teacher at the beginning of each meeting in the form of a conversation or dialogue, and the memorization method is used by the teacher when teaching Arabic vocabulary, while the crossword puzzle game method is used by the teacher after giving material to students or after memorizing the vocabulary as a evaluation material.
