Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should be arranged in the following order:

Title

The title should:

  • be concise and informative,
  • reflect the main issue of the study,
  • and contain no more than 14–16 words.

Avoid abbreviations and overly general titles.

Author Information

The title page should include:

  • full author names,
  • institutional affiliations,
  • ORCID ID (recommended),
  • email addresses,
  • and corresponding author information.

Academic titles should not be included.

Abstract

The abstract must:

  • be written in English and Indonesian,
  • contain 150–250 words,
  • summarize the objective, method, findings, and contribution of the study,
  • and avoid citations or undefined abbreviations.

Below the abstract, provide 3–5 keywords representing the core concepts of the article.

Introduction

The introduction should contain:

  • research background,
  • current scholarly context,
  • research gap,
  • literature positioning,
  • problem formulation,
  • and research objectives.

Authors are expected to clearly demonstrate:

  • the novelty of the study,
  • its theoretical significance,
  • and its contribution to da’wah scholarship.

Method

This section should clearly explain:

  • research design,
  • data sources,
  • participants or research subjects,
  • data collection techniques,
  • analytical framework,
  • validity/trustworthiness procedures,
  • and ethical considerations.

Authors must provide sufficient methodological detail to ensure research transparency and reproducibility.

Results

This section presents the findings of the study clearly, systematically, and objectively. Results should be organized according to the research questions, objectives, or analytical categories of the study.

Authors are encouraged to present data concisely using tables, figures, or other relevant visualizations where appropriate. Repetition of the same data in both text and tables should be avoided.

The results section should focus on presenting the research findings without extensive interpretation.

Discussion

This section provides analytical interpretation of the findings and explains their significance in relation to the research objectives, theoretical framework, and previous studies.

Authors should:

  • critically interpret the findings,
  • compare results with relevant scholarly literature,
  • explain theoretical and practical implications,
  • and highlight the contribution of the study to da’wah scholarship and related fields.

The discussion should demonstrate scholarly depth and critical engagement rather than merely repeating the results. Purely descriptive discussion without analytical interpretation should be avoided.

Conclusion

The conclusion should:

  • answer the research objectives,
  • summarize the main findings,
  • explain theoretical or practical implications,
  • and provide recommendations for future studies if necessary.

The conclusion should not merely repeat the discussion.
